Using a direct-to-card dye sublimation or resin thermal transfer process, the Primacy can create vivid, detailed cards at resolutions starting at 300 x 300 dpi and going up to 300 x 1200 dpi. It is capable of single-sided printing and laminating with a speed of 215 cards per hour with a YMCK and 1/2 YMCK ribbon.The printer features GEMPC USB-TR contact smartcard encoder and both USB & Ethernet connectivity . With fast printing speeds, multiple encoding options, and advanced security features, it is ideal for government agencies, universities, corporate offices, and secure access control systems.

For operation, the Primacy can handle batch jobs with ease thanks to a 100-card input hopper and a 100-card output hopper.
